About Fit For Kids

Fit for Kids is a group exercise class aimed at children aged 8-12 (exceptions may apply). Classes are aimed at those who want to improve their health and fitness and/or combat any challenges they are having with sport or home activity. Fit for Kids classes run for 45 minutes in a variety of formats to keep things fresh and exciting and involve a mix of strengthening and aerobic activity.


Most children need at least an hour of physical activity every day and the benefits are limitless. Some include;

  • Feeling less stresses
  • Building and maintaining healthy bones, muscles and joints
  • Assisting with condition management e.g. asthma, disability, obesity
  • Improving quality of life

Health & Well-Being

1 in 4 Australia children are overweight or obese. Lack of physical activity and sedentary behaviour are just some of the factors contributing to this. Without proper intervention, children are at risk of developing subsequent chronic conditions later in life. By offering a safe environment for children to complete exercise, we are able to combat this risk, and improve their health and wellbeing.
